Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and swiftly Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and accuracy Upsell products and promote store specials or promotions to enhance sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Conduct product demos when applicable to engage customers and showcase features or benefits Follow phone etiquette protocols when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking and merchandising to ensure product availability Experience Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions confidently Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued for engaging diverse customers Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings or training new staff Experience in grocery stores or retail environments will be advantageous for understanding store operations and customer expectations Join us to be part of a lively team committed to delivering outstanding service!
