Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers while ensuring the gas station operates smoothly. You will be managing transactions, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the station. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle cash transactions will be essential in delivering a positive experience for our customers. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions efficiently. Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and balancing at the end of shifts. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking shelves and ensuring product is rotated properly. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Monitor fuel levels and report any discrepancies or maintenance needs to management. Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times. Requirements Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Basic knowledge of retail math for handling transactions accurately. Ability to operate cash registers and POS systems effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Capability to stock products efficiently and maintain inventory levels. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
