About Us El Greco Kitchen & Market is a quick-service Mediterranean concept focused on quality food, friendly service, and a curated market featuring specialty items. We are seeking reliable and customer-focused cashiers to join our team and help deliver a smooth guest experience. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in great service, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities As a cashier, you will be a key point of contact for our guests and assist with front-of-house operations.
Responsibilities include:
Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system (Toast POS experience a plus) Handling cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately Providing friendly customer service and assisting guests with menu and market item questions Taking and processing orders efficiently Packaging food orders and ensuring accuracy Assisting with the sale and promotion of market items Restocking condiments and front-of-house supplies Maintaining a clean and organized service area Following food safety and sanitation standards Communicating effectively with kitchen and team members Qualifications & Skills Cash handling experience preferred Experience with POS systems (Toast POS experience a plus) Strong customer service skills Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of food service and retail operations Team-oriented with a positive attitude Ability to stand for extended periods Reliable transportation and availability within operating hours Food Handler Certification (preferred but not required) Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Quick-service schedule Employee meal discounts Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth within the company How to Apply Apply in person at El Greco Kitchen & Market or submit your resume with availability and contact information.
