GAS STATION CASHIER

Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process fuel sales, convenience store purchases, and other transactions Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with product inquiries, offering product demos, and upselling items to maximize sales opportunities Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform accurate cash handling and balancing at the end of each shift Stock shelves, merchandise products attractively, and ensure the convenience store area is clean and well-organized Conduct product demos for new or featured items to engage customers and promote sales Maintain proper phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking phone orders Assist with grocery store-like tasks such as stocking shelves, managing inventory levels, and merchandising displays Qualifications Previous cashiering experience preferred, especially in retail or grocery store environments Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse customers Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a broader customer base effectively Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers accurately Experience with POS systems and familiarity with retail math concepts Demonstrated ability to supervise or assist team members when needed Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product presentation techniques This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their retail sales expertise while delivering outstanding customer service.
