Overview Join our vibrant and energetic bagel shop team as an Experience Bagel Shop Worker! In this dynamic role, you'll be at the heart of creating delicious bagels and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, quick-service environment. Your enthusiasm, culinary skills, and attention to detail will help us serve up memorable experiences for every guest. Duties Prepare and assemble a variety of fresh bagels, spreads, and toppings with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring quick turnaround times during busy hours. Support the team in food preparation, kitchen duties, and general restaurant operations to ensure smooth daily functions. Skills Proven experience in food preparation within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy. Previous experience in retail or grocery stores is a plus for understanding inventory management and serving customers effectively.
