Plant Nursery Cashier

About Us:

We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Retail Associate / Cashier to join our irrigation and landscape supply store. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized in a fast-paced setting, and can handle transactions accurately while providing a positive customer experience. You'll be one of the first points of contact for customers, helping with purchases, answering questions, and keeping the front-end running smoothly. Responsibilities Welcome customers and assist with questions or product needs Handle register transactions including cash, card, returns, and exchanges Process phone orders and enter sales accurately Stay up to date on current products, promotions, and pricing Keep the checkout and front counter area clean and organized Work with team members to maintain efficient store operations Respond to customer concerns in a professional and helpful manner Support training of new team members when needed Requirements Strong communication and people skills Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods Comfortable handling cash and using a POS system Previous retail or customer service experience preferred Interest in landscaping, plants, or irrigation products is a plus Detail-oriented with accuracy in transactions Ability to handle a high-volume environment with a positive attitude Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
