Stocker / Cashier

Responsibilities Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are organized, labeled correctly, and replenished regularly to meet customer demand Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments Greet customers warmly, assist with product inquiries, and provide product demos when needed to enhance shopping experience Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, adhering to phone etiquette and communication standards Upsell complementary products to increase sales and promote store promotions or specials Assist with merchandising efforts by arranging displays that attract attention and boost sales Support inventory management through stock counting, product rotation, and reporting low stock levels Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with friendly phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team Experience working in a grocery store or similar retail environment is desirable but not mandatory Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in stocking duties Join us and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering quality service while fostering your growth in the retail industry!
