Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions accurately and quickly Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product demos, and assisting with purchases Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and accuracy Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is inviting and well-presented Assist in inventory management through stock checks and product replenishment Practice professional phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or coordinating with team members Qualifications Prior cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers Basic math skills for handling transactions, giving change, and managing retail math calculations Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a broader customer base Experience with POS systems or familiarity with cashiering technology is advantageous Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are beneficial for team collaboration roles Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light to moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced retail setting Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels exceptional customer experiences!
