Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit Operate POS systems such as Clover POS or Toast POS accurately for all transactions Handle cash, credit card payments, and process refunds with precision and integrity Assist with food preparation, food handling, and maintaining sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations Upsell menu items or products to enhance sales and improve the customer experience Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station, dining area, and food service zones including bussing tables as needed Support food industry operations by managing quick service & fast food restaurant duties efficiently while ensuring timely service delivery Follow proper procedures for food safety, sanitation, and kitchen experience standards Manage basic math calculations for transactions and retail math accuracy Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant or café operations during busy hours Qualifications Prior experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Knowledge of food preparation, handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions Experience working in quick service & fast food restaurants or cafés is highly desirable Basic understanding of serving techniques, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed Join us if you're ready to bring energy to every shift!
