Cashier

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service
• Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers or POS systems
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
• Maintain accurate cash drawer balances
• Scan and bag items for customers
• Assist with stock replenishment as needed
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
• Promote store loyalty programs and upsell products or services
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role is preferred but not required
• Strong time management skills to ensure efficient transaction processing
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and calculations
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Knowledge of technology sales or jewelry sales is a plus
