Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales quickly and accurately Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product inquiries or demos Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform accurate cash handling and retail math calculations Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restock shelves, and assist with merchandising efforts Upsell products by suggesting complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Ensure proper stock levels by assisting with stocking and inventory management tasks Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns professionally while maintaining phone etiquette when assisting over the phone or in person Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering within a grocery store environment is preferred Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish (bilingual) to serve a diverse customer base effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math skills Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stock management, and product demos is advantageous Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence and phone etiquette Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering authentic Mexican grocery shopping experiences!
