The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers, handling cash and electronic payments, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the checkout area. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience. Operate cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper change is given. Conduct product demonstrations as needed to enhance customer engagement and promote sales. Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and policies to assist customers effectively. Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Assist with inventory management by restocking items as needed and reporting discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not required. Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems is an advantage. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience with retail math concepts is a plus.
