Cashier

Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in a dynamic food truck setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, with experience in cashiering and handling transactions efficiently. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our customers while ensuring and maintaining store standards. Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting customers with menu questions. Handle credit and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front area. Restock ingredients as necessary. Assist with delivery of foods. Exhibit strong phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries via phone. Requirements Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for providing outstanding customer service in a food truck setting. Pay starts at $16 an hour + tips with opportunities to increase!
