Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services within the store Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement Provide knowledgeable advice on merchandise, upselling where appropriate to enhance the shopping experience Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current inventory Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking, organizing, and conducting stock counts Uphold excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership and team coordination skills Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math ensures smooth transactions Strong communication skills and friendly phone etiquette are essential for engaging with customers both in person and over the phone Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies will help you excel in this role This position is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive on helping others, enjoy working in a lively environment, and want to grow their retail career.
