Job Description
Overview We are a family-owned restaurant proudly serving breakfast and Hawaiian BBQ plate lunches for 13 years in Kaka'ako. We are looking for someone to fill a position Monday to Wednesday 8am to 2:30pm. Possible to start before 8am if desired Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Cashier and become the friendly face that greets and serves our valued guests! In this energetic role, you'll handle customer transactions with enthusiasm, ensure accurate cash handling, and deliver exceptional service that keeps diners coming back. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere where every guest feels appreciated. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service skills while contributing to a lively, fast-paced environment. Duties Clean work area, organize and stock items as needed Strong customer service skills, greeting and serving each guest promptly Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by management staff or shift leaders Prepare food products following restaurant, health and safety standards and procedures quickly and accurately Perks Free meal during shifts $16-$17/hr plus tips Requirements Formal experience not required--paid training provided Strong communication skills and phone etiquette to engage with guests professionally Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining excellent customer service standards Cantonese speaker a plus but not required Hours Monday to Wednesday 8am to 2:30pm Possible to start before 8am if desired
