Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product information or demos Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities Practice effective phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or taking orders Support inventory management through stocking and merchandising tasks, ensuring the store remains inviting and well-organized Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions confidently Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in guiding new team members or managing customer flow during busy times Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases Experience in product demos, upselling, merchandising, or stock management enhances your ability to succeed in this role Join us and become an essential part of our vibrant retail team!
