Job Description
Job Summary We're on the lookout for friendly, detail-oriented Cashiers to join our retail team. In this role, you'll be the face of our store, providing excellent service while efficiently handling transactions. Your upbeat attitude and strong communication skills will help create a welcoming environment for all customers. Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales and returns. Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional phone etiquette when assisting over the phone. Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments with precision and integrity. Assist customers with product questions, including conducting product demos when needed. Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure shelves are stocked and merchandised properly. Support in stocking and merchandising to keep the store inviting and easy to navigate. Must be available to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business. Skills Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of POS systems and cashiering procedures. Ability to multitask while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
