You will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, providing friendly service, and supporting food preparation and handling. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, cashiering, and retail operations. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and retail needs, ensuring a positive experience. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales swiftly and accurately. Handle cash transactions, including cash handling, making change, and balancing registers at shift end. Prepare and serve food items following safety standards, including basic food preparation and food handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and cleaning food prep stations. Upsell menu items or retail products to enhance sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service. Support food safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards and proper food storage practices. Experience Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math skills for cash handling. Experience with cashiering, serving, or working in a café or grocery store setting is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Demonstrated ability to provide friendly customer service with a positive attitude.
