Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth operations at the register and in food preparation areas. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in retail math, POS systems, food handling, and customer service while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're assisting customers with orders or maintaining sanitation standards, you'll play a vital part in creating memorable visits for every guest. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, friendly service at the register and food prep areas Operate POS systems such as Aloha and Micros accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Assist with food preparation tasks, including assembling orders and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas Manage food handling responsibilities, ensuring proper sanitation, storage, and quality control Support bussing duties by clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service or fast food restaurant, or retail environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering great service while growing your skills in the food industry!
