Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and speed Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision while maintaining proper cash handling procedures Maintain a clean and organized restock shelves, and ensure merchandise is properly displayed through effective merchandising and stocking Enforce store policies on phone etiquette, ensuring clear communication with customers over the phone or in person Supervise or assist fellow team members during shifts, fostering a cooperative environment that emphasizes teamwork and excellent service Experience Prior cashiering experience in a retail environment or grocery store is preferred but not required; training will be provided Bilingual skills are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs Demonstrated ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for retail math and cash handling tasks Strong communication skills are essential for effective customer interactions and team collaboration This position offers an energetic environment where your enthusiasm makes a difference every day.
