Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales transactions quickly and accurately Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries with professionalism Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed Upsell products and suggest additional items to enhance the customer shopping experience Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits to customers Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Assist with inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and product replenishment Provide clear communication with team members regarding store operations, customer needs, or concerns Uphold phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures in a retail or grocery store environment Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Excellent merchandising skills with an eye for presentation and organization Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Knowledge of grocery store operations including stocking, product demos, and upselling techniques Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone or in person Join our team where your enthusiasm fuels our success!
