Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos when needed Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Maintain clean and organized checkout areas to enhance the customer experience Upsell products and promote store promotions to maximize sales opportunities Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and assist with inventory management to ensure product availability Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Support store operations by supervising team members during shifts when required Provide bilingual assistance to serve a diverse customer base effectively Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and store policies during daily activities Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for handling transactions accurately Strong communication skills, including clear verbal skills and active listening abilities Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales totals Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, approachable demeanor Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus but not mandatory Bilingual skills are highly valued to better serve our diverse clientele Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed Join us as a Cashier and become an essential part of our energetic team!
