Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Conduct product demos when applicable to enhance customer engagement and promote featured items Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a positive attitude Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales area is clean and inviting Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with precision and integrity Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking new merchandise and conducting stock counts Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Experience with POS systems or similar technology is a plus Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with a friendly demeanor Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership growth opportunities Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, and product presentation is beneficial Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding shopping experiences.
