  • Full-time Towne & Oak, a bustling cafe & private event space in Winnetka is hiring a full-time, non-seasonal (our summer positions are currently full), cashier!
Join our team of creative, hardworking, industry professionals Responsibilities Serve all guests in a timely & courteous manner Maintain high-level quality standards including consistency and presentation Clean, stock, and maintain food & beverages throughout shift Follow & maintain all sanitation standards for food, cleanliness, and safety Follow all cash handling policies & procedures to ensure safety of all employees, guests, and vendors Additional responsibilities as assigned by management Qualifications Available full-time including Saturday's and Sunday's (7am-close) Non-seasonal (our summer positions are currently full) Excellent communication, listening, and time management skills Basic knowledge of food & coffee plus an interest to learn more (training provided) Ability to stay calm under pressure and provide a consistent, high quality experience for all guests Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day Capability to withstand warm temperatures and noisy environments Ability to occasionally lift & carry up to 25lbs Endure in various physical activities like reaching, bending, kneeling, climbing and moving about facility Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
