Responsibilities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, answer their questions, and provide product information or demos when needed Handle cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Maintain a clean, organized checkout area by stocking supplies and merchandising products effectively Ensure all safety protocols are followed to keep the store secure during overnight hours Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves and conducting basic stock checks Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns professionally and courteously Upsell products or services to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Communicate clearly with team members and management about store needs or issues Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in managing team members or shifts Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations is essential Strong communication skills, phone etiquette, and customer service orientation are vital for success Experience in merchandising, stocking, product demos, or upselling will set you apart Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Join us as a Night Cashier and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while supporting our store's overnight operations.
