Cashier

Job Overview Maria's Pasta Project is looking for a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Cashier / Front of House Team Member to join our team. This position plays an important role in creating a great guest experience by taking orders, handling transactions, assisting customers, preparing desserts, and helping keep the front of house clean and organized. We are looking for someone who is personable, team-oriented, and willing to help wherever needed throughout the shift. Responsibilities Greet guests and provide friendly customer service Take customer orders accurately and efficiently Handle cash and card transactions Answer menu questions and assist guests with their orders Bring drinks to customers and check on guests during their visit Bus, wipe down, and reset tables Prep desserts and scoop ice cream Help keep the dining area clean, organized, and presentable Sweep and mop front-of-house areas Clean and maintain guest bathrooms Complete side work and cleaning tasks assigned for the shift Assist with closing duties at the end of the night Additional Duties Cleaning and side work responsibilities may vary depending on the day and business needs. Some tasks are part of closing duties, while others may need to be completed during the shift as needed.
