Responsibilities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales transactions swiftly and efficiently Greet customers warmly, providing friendly and professional phone etiquette when assisting over the phone or in person Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end Assist customers with product inquiries, offering product demos and upselling relevant items to enhance their shopping experience Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and reporting discrepancies or low stock levels Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in multiple languages (bilingual skills are a plus) Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in a retail setting is desirable Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales processing Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, and stock management is advantageous Excellent phone etiquette, interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude to foster a welcoming atmosphere Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
