Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions swiftly and correctly Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties responsibly Upsell products and suggest additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Conduct product demos when needed to educate customers about features and benefits Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Assist with inventory management through stock checks and participating in regular stock replenishment Follow phone etiquette protocols when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Promote store promotions and loyalty programs effectively to maximize sales opportunities Experience Prior cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for handling transactions accurately Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently in multiple languages (bilingual skills are a plus) Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service with professionalism and enthusiasm Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, and stock management is beneficial Join us as a Cashier and become an essential part of our vibrant team!
