Team Bakery Lead (Teus & Wed 12-7pm)(Sat 11-6pm)(Sun 1030-4)

Position Summary The team lead fulfills the manager's responsibilities in the manager's absence. Assists manager with running the bakery and coordinating the departments of baking, decorating, and guest service. In addition, assists the manager with scheduling employees and handling team member issues. This person is a key carrier. Teamwork and guest service are top priorities. Requirements Some management experience in the retail industry a plus. Solid understanding of guest service.

Computer skills:

60 wpm typing skills, experienced with Microsoft® Word, general computer knowledge. Excellent grammar and spelling skills. Positive attitude, good communication skills, and an understanding of and ability to assist in implementing a team approach in the bakery. Some merchandising skills helpful. Cash register skills necessary. Responsibilities Assist in supervising all employees in every phase of product preparation and guest service. Assist in hiring new employees. Motivate employees to achieve maximum effectiveness. Provide team member training according to company guidelines and cross-train employees so they are able to perform multiple functions. Reconcile all cash transactions and make bank deposits. Guest relations and assistance. Day-to-day staffing. Monitor e-mail. Monitor inventories. Create and maintain a positive work environment. Maintain the safety and security of the bakery and the team. Anticipate potential problems and problem solve. Uphold Nothing Bundt Cakes' image, brand, and culture. Exceed guests' expectations.
