Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently. Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity. Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product information or demos when needed. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented. Assist in inventory management through stock checks, product replenishment, and participating in periodic stock counts. Upsell products by suggesting complementary items or promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or placing orders remotely, ensuring clear communication at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for handling transactions accurately. Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual abilities are highly valued. Ability to perform cashier duties confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to handle cash responsibly and perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately.
