Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, personalized service to meet their needs. Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement. Assist customers with selecting products, upselling where appropriate to enhance their purchase experience. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to ensure the store looks inviting and organized. Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing stock rooms, and conducting regular stock checks. Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support cashiering duties with basic math skills to handle transactions efficiently and accurately. Apply strong communication skills to resolve customer questions or concerns promptly and professionally. Participate in store cleaning routines and ensure compliance with safety standards in a grocery or retail setting. Assist in training new team members or supervising staff when needed to foster teamwork and efficiency. Supervise a team of sales associates to meet daily goals Requirements Prior experience opening and closing a store and/or working alone Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone. Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos is highly desirable. Bilingual abilities are considered an asset for serving diverse customer bases. Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team.
