Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Stocker to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service at the cash register while also ensuring that our merchandise is well-stocked and organized. This position requires a proactive approach to customer engagement, efficient cash handling, and effective stock management to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, processing customer transactions with speed and professionalism. Assist customers with inquiries and provide product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available. Restock shelves and displays as needed, ensuring that products are properly labeled and presented Experience Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer service role is preferred. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operation of cash registers is essential. Strong understanding of retail math concepts to assist with inventory management and sales tracking.
