Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Gas Station Attendant and Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face customers see when they visit our station. Your energetic and positive attitude will ensure a welcoming environment while efficiently handling transactions, assisting customers with product information, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the station. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop retail and customer service skills in a fast-paced setting, all while contributing to a safe and enjoyable experience for our patrons. This position requires availability evenings and weekends. Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process cash, credit, and debit transactions with speed and precision Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries about products or services Restock shelves, merchandise displays, and convenience store items; ensure the station remains clean, organized, and inviting Maintain proper cash handling procedures, including balancing registers at shift end and reconciling sales reports Demonstrate phone etiquette by professionally answering inquiries and directing calls efficiently Experience Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially within grocery stores or convenience stores Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Strong communication skills to engage with customers confidently and courteously Experience in merchandising, stocking, or product demos enhances your ability to create an appealing shopping environment Knowledge of grocery store operations is beneficial for understanding product placement and inventory management Join us in delivering exceptional service with energy and professionalism!
