Cashier

MedFresh is a fast-casual Middle Eastern restaurant serving fresh, cooked-to-order food in a clean and welcoming environment. We're looking for a friendly and dependable Cashier to join our front-of-house team. This position is responsible for greeting customers, taking orders accurately, handling payments, and helping maintain a clean and organized front counter area. Because we're a smaller restaurant, we're looking for someone who is personable, attentive, and takes pride in creating a great first impression.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service Take orders accurately and efficiently Process cash, credit card, and digital payments Answer menu questions and make recommendations when needed Keep the front counter clean and organized Restock front-of-house items (utensils, napkins, beverages, etc.) Assist with light cleaning duties in the front area Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders Help with opening and closing front-of-house duties

Qualifications:

Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor Strong communication skills Reliable and punctual Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to stand for extended periods
