Overview Join our dynamic team as a Gas Station Attendant and Cashier, where you will be the friendly face that keeps our customers coming back! Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their needs in a courteous, professional manner Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately Handle cash handling responsibilities with integrity and attention to detail Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain clean and organized fuel pumps, store shelves, and checkout areas through regular stocking and merchandising Conduct product demos when applicable to promote new items or special offers Provide excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or answering customer inquiries Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of low supplies Skills Proficiency with POS systems for quick and accurate transactions Previous supervising experience is a plus for team coordination roles Ability to perform retail math including basic calculations for pricing and change-making Strong communication skills to engage with diverse customers effectively Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a broader customer base Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments preferred Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product presentation techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Familiarity with phone etiquette for professional communication Ability to upsell products confidently to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and transaction accuracy This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build their retail experience while providing top-notch service.
