The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This role requires strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively. Duties Operate the POS system efficiently to process sales and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately. Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service through friendly phone etiquette and in-person interactions. Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling to enhance sales opportunities. Stock shelves, merchandise products attractively, and ensure the store remains clean and organized throughout the shift. Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock levels and coordinating with supervisors for restocking needs. Supervise or assist in supervising store operations during shifts when needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Handle cash accurately, perform retail math calculations for transactions, and maintain proper cash handling procedures. Support promotional activities and participate in merchandising efforts to maximize sales. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math is advantageous. Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities within the team. Bilingual skills are highly desirable to better serve diverse customer demographics. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
