Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier/Stocker and become a vital part of creating an exceptional shopping experience! In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, handles transactions efficiently, and ensures the sales floor is well-stocked and inviting. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help drive sales, maintain store organization, and deliver top-notch customer service. This position offers a fast-paced environment where your multitasking skills and positive attitude will shine. Work is from 8:00-5:00 Responsibilities Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process customer transactions, including cash handling, credit/debit card payments, and upselling opportunities. Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries or demos. Stock shelves efficiently by receiving deliveries, organizing merchandise, and ensuring products are properly displayed through merchandising best practices. Maintain store cleanliness and organization by performing regular stocking duties and ensuring aisles are clear and inviting. Use effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, supervise product placement, and support promotional activities or product demos. Uphold phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for cash handling and transaction accuracy. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service in a bilingual setting is a plus. Demonstrated ability to perform cashiering tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Experience in merchandising, stocking, or product demos enhances your suitability for this role.
