Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping journey Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit card payments, and process receipts with attention to detail and integrity Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about merchandise to enhance their shopping experience Restock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store is clean and inviting Conduct merchandising activities including product placement and promotional displays to maximize sales opportunities Support inventory management by stocking shelves and assisting with stock counts and inventory checks Upsell products by suggesting additional items that meet customer needs while maintaining a friendly approach Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a broader customer base effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math concepts Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks related to stocking and merchandising Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory Join us if you're energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to make every customer's visit memorable!
