Pharmacy Cashier/Clerk

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly talented & motivated Pharmacy Clerk/Cashier for Three Rivers Pharmacy in Three Rivers, MI. This position of Pharmacy Cashier plays an important part in the success and culture development of our Pharmacy. The person is professional with caring and outstanding service oriented attitude. For this position a person must be good with people, patient, understanding, and able to work while a variety of different tasks are going on simultaneously. Duties & Responsibilities

• Accurately operating a cash register, display cost of customer's purchase and issue receipt.

Maintain a Clean, attractive and well stocked department and have familiarity with all products carried in the Front End Sections/OTC department. Stocking, ordering and pricing the merchandising and other supplies Helping in Pharmacy by putting away orders, Operating POS, waiting on Customers and collecting necessary patient info to help etc.. Worked under the supervision of Pharmacy manager and notify Pharmacy Manager of any supplies/products that need to be ordered Abide by HIPPA and all legal policies and procedures enforced by our Pharmacy. Providing Best Customer Services and answering the phone professionally/promptly in Pharmacy Dept as necessary Doing some outreach for Marketing to Dr Offices occasionally etc. General housekeeping to be completed by Pharmacy team including

Daily :

emptying trash, vacuum

Weekly :

clean bathrooms, dust shelves/fixtures As needed/requested : make deliveries, move products/boxes/run errands, face products on shelving Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED is required Successfully able to complete a background check and drug screen. Job Experience
• One (1) year or more prior customer service oriented or pharmacy Cashier/Clerk related experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills Abilities
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret communications effectively. Basic mathematical skills for Pharmacy Suggestive Selling/Knowledge of Products. Physical Requirement
