Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Kitchen Staff member, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional food service experiences. This energetic position combines front-of-house customer interactions with behind-the-scenes food preparation, ensuring smooth operations and satisfied guests. You'll be the friendly face greeting customers at the register while also assisting in food handling and kitchen tasks to maintain high standards of quality and sanitation. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately using POS systems, and process transactions efficiently while handling cash and card payments. Upsell menu items to enhance sales and maximize revenue opportunities through friendly suggestions and product knowledge. Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality, presentation, and food safety compliance. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health regulations. Assist with food handling duties including bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods. Manage time effectively to ensure quick service delivery in a fast-paced environment typical of quick service or fast food restaurants. Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating supplies, and noting replenishment needs. Qualifications •MUST be Honest, Reliable, Dependable, Reliable, Honest!! Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and sales calculations are essential. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively engage with guests. Ability to multitask efficiently in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting while maintaining attention to detail. Kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to develop culinary skills is appreciated.
