Cashier

Responsibilities:

Registers sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing, and totaling customers purchases. Manages the Café lobby to ensure everything is stocked, cleaned, and ready for service. Performs a variety of culinary duties associated with the preparation, presentation, and service of cold food items such as salads, sandwiches, and desserts. Completes all logs as assigned by the supervisor. Complete daily and periodic cleaning assignments Maintain a clean and organized environment. Follow state and county sanitation regulations. Perform tasks using appropriate safety equipment and follow all safety standards. Report all issues found that relate to patient care, safety, and sanitation to appropriate authority and direct supervisor. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Current Clay County food handler's permit or Serve Safe required within 30 days of hire. Previous cash handling experience preferred.
