Cosentino's Sunfresh is seeking reliable and customer-focused Overnight Cashiers to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service while efficiently processing transactions during the overnight shift (9 PM - 5 AM). The ideal candidate should have strong cash handling skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle various tasks, including operating the point of sale (POS) system, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register and POS system, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with bagging merchandise. Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring accuracy in all financial dealings. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including cleaning and stocking merchandise. Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising products as needed. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy environment. Demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with customers and team members. Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods.

Minimum Qualifications:

Working knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic arithmetic. General knowledge of customer service principles. Ability to communicate effectively in the English language. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Experience with cash register operation. Possess a positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in a retail or restaurant operation environment. Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices. Experience with selling techniques. High school diploma or equivalent.
