In the seventy years since, Suburban has grown into a multi-faceted retail and wholesale organization dedicated to the principles of growing superior products, providing excellent service and delivering great value to its customers. The Cash Balancing is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of daily cash transactions, identifying discrepancies and enforcing cash handling policies. The Retail Loyalty Program Admin Support is responsible for customer enrollment process, reward tracking and data integrity. This role resolves rewards queries and ensures accurate data flow between the POS system and customer databases. Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Reconcile cash, checks, credit cards, debit cards and online payments for retail stores with POS reports
  • Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies in cash balances for stores
  • Prepare bank deposit slips for customer checks for stores
  • Scan and maintain detailed records of cash balancing worksheets and store envelopes with deposit information recorded
  • Review and resolve credit card declines and suspicious transactions
  • Work with all retail stores and other employees to handle errors with sales transactions
  • Order bank deposit books
  • Handles any issues with online gift card purchases thru online website
  • Call customers regarding declined credit cards or suspicious transactions
  • Oversee loyalty program member enrollment, point accrual and reward redemption ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Handle loyalty customer issues, complaints and questions regarding rewards, points and account status
  • Maintain accurate loyalty member data and update records including duplicate account management
  • Mail new loyalty member cards
  • Order loyalty reward member cards
