We're looking for a dependable and customer-focused Stocker/Cashier to join our team in St. Louis. About the Role As a Stocker/Cashier, you'll play an important role in ensuring our store remains well-stocked, organized, and welcoming for customers. You'll assist with stocking merchandise, maintaining store presentation, and providing excellent customer service at the checkout counter. What You'll DoCashier Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner Process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions Answer customer questions regarding products, pricing, promotions, and store policies Maintain a clean and organized checkout area Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience Stocking & Inventory Support Receive, unpack, and organize incoming merchandise shipments Stock shelves, displays, and storage areas according to company standards Ensure products are properly labeled, priced, and displayed Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items Rotate merchandise and maintain product freshness where applicable Keep aisles, shelves, and stockrooms clean and organized Store Operations Assist customers in locating products throughout the store Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards Support store opening and closing procedures Help set up promotional displays and seasonal merchandise Follow company policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines Perform additional tasks as assigned by management Team Collaboration Work closely with team members to ensure efficient store operations Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment Participate in training and development opportunities Support store goals and customer satisfaction initiatives What We're Looking For Strong customer service and communication skills Friendly, positive, and professional attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment Basic math and cash-handling skills Attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise as needed Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout shifts Previous experience in retail, stocking, merchandising, warehouse operations, grocery stores, cashiering, customer service, or related fields is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for motivated candidates.
