Clerk / cashier for Gas Station

Responsibilities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process fuel sales, convenience store purchases, and other transactions accurately Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections Upsell products and promote store specials or new items to enhance sales opportunities Manage cash handling duties with precision, including balancing registers at shift end and maintaining accurate financial records Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and ensure the store is clean, organized, and inviting for shoppers Conduct product demos when applicable to educate customers about featured items or promotions Maintain phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person, ensuring clear communication at all times Experience Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly customer interactions in a retail or grocery store setting Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team Experience in merchandising, stocking, or grocery store operations is beneficial but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding journey where your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will make a real difference.
