Cashier

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions and managing the cash register. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. Accurately process sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Stock shelves and ensure product displays are well-maintained. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate change is given. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer experience. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems and retail math is advantageous. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse customers. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. A proactive approach to stocking and maintaining inventory levels. Requirements Must be 16 years or older as of May 1st, 2026. Must have availabilty to work from May-September. Must have reliable transportation.
