Job Summary Join our fabulous team as a Cashier/Drinks Maker where you'll be the friendly face that greets customers and ensures a smooth checkout experience. Your energetic attitude and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment, promote sales, and provide exceptional customer service. Whether handling transactions or producing tasty teas, limeade and lemonade drinks, your enthusiasm will help us to create a great customer experience. We pay $10 per hour plus tips. We are open seasonally from May 1 to October 31. Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities Assist in merchandising and stocking shelves to ensure products are well-presented and accessible Support inventory management by participating in stock counts and organizing merchandise displays Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Basic retail math for handling transactions accurately Customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person A positive attitude will enable you to thrive
