Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information with enthusiasm Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments Assist customers with product demos and promote relevant items through upselling techniques Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Support inventory management through stocking and inventory checks to keep the sales floor organized Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in person Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience for all customers Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math skills for accurate transactions Strong communication skills and the ability to provide friendly, professional service in a bilingual setting is a plus Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for growth opportunities Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking and merchandising Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers Knowledge of grocery store operations, upselling strategies, and product demos is beneficial Basic math proficiency for handling cash transactions confidently Join us to be part of a lively team committed to delivering outstanding service while growing your retail career!
