Cashier- $$15/hr +
TIPS Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring smooth transactions at the checkout. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail math, customer service, and cash handling.Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience.
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Answer customer inquiries and assist with resolving any issues or complaints.
- Collaborate with the sales team to upsell products or promotions.
- Ensure compliance with all food industry regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail or food service environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems, experience with Square POS is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of culinary or quick service fast food restaurant operations is advantageous.
- Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
