Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing at shift end. Assist customers with product questions, provide product demos when needed, and promote upselling opportunities to enhance sales. Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure products are attractive and accessible. Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and reporting discrepancies. Deliver excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, addressing inquiries professionally, and maintaining phone etiquette. Supervise or assist with product demonstrations and educate customers on features to boost engagement and sales. Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Previous supervising experience in retail or grocery store environments is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings. Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash register operations and sales calculations. Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory counts. Excellent customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette. Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments is highly desirable for understanding fast-paced workflows.
